Smoothing Out Your Nose Job

Undergoing a nose job, also known as rhinoplasty, is an extremely popular procedure. It can result in depressions on the nose, but now smoothing out your nose job isn’t too hard.

For all the talk about breast jobs in plastic surgery, it is the nose that usually gets the most attention. This is because we look at each others faces when communicating. If you feel that your nose is less than grand, it can lead to insecurity and the like. The answer, of course, is to get a nose job.

Nose jobs can make a dramatic difference in your appearance. They can thin a nose. They can get rid of bumps on the ridge or thin out a bulbous end. The possibilities are nearly endless. That being said, more than a few nose jobs will have flaws. These flaws come in the form of depressions where the cartilage under the nose has sunk a bit. This is usually along the side of the nose. Fixing such depressions was difficult until now.

The answer to the nose job flaw problem is an injectible filler. Hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxylapatite gel (CaHA) are two of the more popular options. The physician can inject them into depressions or flawed areas. These inflate the area and cause the depression to fill up until it is uniform with the surrounding area. As you can imagine, technique is the key to getting a good result.

The advantages to filler injections are many. They are relatively inexpensive. They don’t require you to be put under with general anesthetic as was necessary for your nose job. Further, they are minimally intrusive, which limits complications. All and all, they represent a nice, simple solution for converting your rhinoplasty procedure from a 90 percent improvement to a 100 percent improvement!
