The FDA has approved a new laser liposuction procedure that is going to revolutionize the game. The procedure is being touted as pain free and focused on specific fat areas.

Liposuction is a hugely popular form of cosmetic surgery. This should hardly be a surprise given the amounts and low quality of food that we stick into our maws every day. From steroids to processing, the simple fact is we eat more than we ever have, but the food is so lacking in nutrients that we need more and more of it. Ultimately, this leads to a lot of fat people. 

Liposuction may be hugely popular, but it is also one of the more dangerous cosmetic surgeries. Many people just roll their eyes when warned that plastic surgery is an invasive procedure. While generally safe, liposuction is very invasive as one is literally popping through the skin and then sucking out fat cells. Of all the procedures, lipo is the one most likely to result in the death of the patient. 

The new procedure approved by the FDA involves a focused laser treatment. Made by Chromogenex, the i-lipo laser device attacks the fat cells in very defined areas. This causes the cells to break down into their components, which are then processed and whisked out of the body as waste material.
