However, due to the extreme pressure faced by actors and actresses to stay young and beautiful, some of these men and women are resorting to cosmetic procedures in order to keep their looks current.
One topic of debate among celebrity gossip columnists and writers is Kim Delaney, plastic surgery or no? Kim Delaney, best known for her roles on the cop dramas NYPD Blue and CSI:Miami, is a 40 something actress who's been in the public eye for about 25 years. First seen in the TV world as a teenager on the soap opera All My Children, Delaney has played many different roles; these included roles on Tales from the Crypt as well as LA Law.
Kim Delaney was most currently seen on TV movies (10.5: Apocalypse) as well as in her stint on CSI:Miami. Many have speculated that Delaney may have had rhinoplasty (a nose job) due to the skinny appearance of her nose. Rhinoplasty is often performed on patients that are unhappy with the look of their nose, because of its length, width or irregular shape. While it is true that she has a skinny nose, Kim Delaney has neither confirmed or denied having had a nose job.
Additional Kim Delaney plastic surgery that has been speculated about includes both face lifts and breast implants. Most people are allowed to age gracefully, or at least out of the public eye, but because she is an actress that is seen in millions of homes frequently, the shape and size of her face and body are up for comment and people's imaginations. Kim Delaney has not confirmed or denied these, or other plastic surgery procedures.
While plastic surgery may be a common occurrence among many groups of people, such as celebrities, actresses and the wealthy, not everyone who fits into one of these groups has had cosmetic work done.
