Butt Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgery is essentially the artistic modification of a body part. With butt plastic surgery, the modification generally falls in the areas of making it larger, smaller or a different shape.
Butt Plastic Surgery
While many types of cosmetic procedures have been performed for years, such as breast implants and face lifts, there are other surgery types that have just recently gained popularity. In the last ten years, butt plastic surgery has become an area in which plastic surgeons are performing more and more procedures. Whether you have lost weight, or are sagging because of age or body structure, a butt lift can really help you to feel better about your body shape.
There are several ways that butt plastic surgery can be implemented to help the area look more curvaceous and youthful. One type of surgery commonly performed on this area is liposuction. Liposuction is the removal of fat deposits under the skin through suction. Small cuts are made in the skin, and a cannula (thin flexible tube) is inserted into the slit. The cannula is moved around, dislodging fat cells, and then the fat is suctioned out. This type of cosmetic surgery is good for removing areas of fat which may be causing bulging or distortion in the buttocks. It can leave the butt looking more shapely and defined.
Another type of butt plastic surgery that is performed routinely today is butt implants. These silicone pads (made of solid silicone) are inserted in the buttocks above the sitting area, either on top of or underneath the gluteous maximus. These butt implants add shape and bulk to the buttocks, which will give a more curvaceous and balanced shape to the butt area. Butt implants are used by both men and women, and can be inserted in people who feel that their buttocks are not shapely enough, and that they cannot make them into the shape they want through exercise.
A final type of butt plastic surgery involves taking fat from another area of the body (such as the abdomen or the thighs) and grafting the fat onto the buttocks. Fat cells are removed and then purified; these cells are then evenly distributed under the skin of the buttocks. This also allows the butt to look more shapely and curvaceous.
While the butt has not always been a common area for plastic surgery, as more and more people become concerned about their whole body appearance, plastic surgeons are seeing additional patients looking for this type of procedure. As with any area of plastic surgery, doctors are continuing to research new ways to sculpt the butt region.
