When Can I Wear a Bra?

The recovery period after surgery can vary from a few weeks to many months. It is usual for there to be swelling and sensitivity for a week or two after the procedure. There is usually a temporary loss of feeling in the breast and nipple but this gradually returns. However in some cases loss of feeling is permanent. If after 6 weeks, when the swelling and bruising has subsided, you experience loss of sensation then consult your doctor.
